Insider Scoop on 2015 Pet Blogger Awards
The 2015 BlogPaws Nose-to-Nose Pet Blogging and Social Media Awards are the pet industry’s Oscar-style awards, and there’s some insider scoop to share.
Aside from a fancy trophy, a red carpet ceremony, hundreds of pet food donated to the shelter of your choice, and peer recognition, nominees and winners of these awards receive media attention—and more.

For those unfamiliar, bloggers and microbloggers in the pet space of all levels and experience are encouraged to get involved with the BlogPaws Nose-to-Nose Pet Blogging and Social Media Awards.
As BlogPaws grows in prestige within the pet industry, so, too, does the winning of a Nose-to-Nose Award. BlogPaws hosted its first pet-friendly social media and marketing conference in 2010 and has grown annually into the biggest social media event and conference of its kind with attendees from all over the world. Here are some things winner can do with the prestigious achievement:
Shout it out on the main page of your blog: With a badge, banner, or other notification
Shows brands you have been recognized by a pet industry leader
Include “BlogPaws Nose-to-Nose Pet Blogging and Social Media Award Winner” in your email signature line
Shows your dedication and recognition to your blog/microblog and makes a notable addition to a LinkedIn profile and/or professional resume
Connect with media to alert them of the donation made to a shelter in your blog’s name. Susan Willett of Life with Dogs and Cats rocked the media with news of pet food she won at the BlogPaws Conference.
A panel of professionals judge the candidates based on creativity, expertise, and performance. Participants are not and never will be required to garner votes or drive likes to their social media sites. At its core, the Nose-to-Nose awards will never be a popularity contest. BTW, there’s more: At the 2014 awards, BlogPaws donated Pet Oxygen Masks for for the Las Vegas Fire Department and K9 Dog Body Armor for Las Vegas Police Department. .
