Blog Carnival to Support Our Pets

BISSELL-Pack-of-Pet-Lovers Good morning, all!

As a member of the BlogPaws community online, you know all too well that pets are more than just pets. They are our family, our friends. Unfortunately, too many of our four-legged pals do not have the opportunity to be loved and end up in shelters without a home.

That’s why we’ve partnered with BISSELL Homecare, Inc. for a Blog Carnival to help raise money for the Petfinder.com Foundation, which is helping pets across the U.S. find their forever homes. A Blog Carnival is a community-wide BlogPaws event in which we all post around the same topic. We invite you to tell us about your adoption story and the happiness your pet has brought you. You MUST be a community member to participate – if you're not, hop over and join today here!

How to participate

To enter, write a blog post and email a link to your post to vhunt@crt-tanaka.com with “BlogPaws  Carnival submission” in the subject line. Submissions must be received by midnight ET on Saturday, Sept. 10. A panel of judges made up of one BISSELL representative, one Petfinder.com Foundation representative and BlogPaws founders/organizers will review posts and select the winners. Prizes

One grand prize winner will be awarded a $2,500 grant and two runners-up will each receive a $1,000 grant for the Petfinder.com shelter of their choice.

If you have any questions, send us an email or find us on Twitter. Head's up: use the #adoptpets hashtag so we can find you! Together, we can help pets find homes and spread pet joy.

  1. This is an inspiring event. I hope there would be more events like this that support animals. I would definitely love to participate in this Blog Carnival!

  2. One of the first rules of writing is to “write what you know” and choose a topic that you are passionate about. If pets are your passion, go and fill a niche in the pet writing market.
