Some 2013 Resolutions from the BlogPaws Team:
- Yvonne: Take better care of 'things' – myself, my fur-kids, my friendships, my
blog…! Taking care means knowing my limits. So, if I say 'no' to
something, it's because I really, really can't do it. Not because I
don't want to.
- Kristin: Turn off the computer by 9:00 pm every night! If something's not finished, get up earlier, rather than working later.
- Carol: I've discovered over the years that the
main reason for resolution failure is most often setting too many goals
that are so large that trying to stick to them becomes arduous. I began a
new tradition at the end of 2011. I will continue on this path: Space
my goals out to one per month. I will stop calling them resolutions as
if they are the end all and be all to experience nirvana. Month by
month, I am setting a goal of something I will do and include "step
away" time and unplugging in those goals. At the end of the year, I will have achieved at least 12 goals as a
result, which is very inspiring personally and professionally.
If you aren't already a member, there's no better time to join the BlogPaws Online Community! It's fast and it's free. And of course, there's the BlogPaws 2013 Conference in Tysons Corner, VA. We hope that's on everyone's list!
I really like Carol suggestion of setting goals one month at a time. Certainly sounds more feasible. I think I’ll give it a try, too! Thanks for hosting!
I like Kristin’s resolution the best…and I’m sure Gizmo does too…he’s very happy when i finally shut down the computers every night
