Breaking News: BlogPaws Pet Blogging and Social Media Awards Update
Live from Lake Las Vegas in May, Pet360 presents the 3rd Annual BlogPaws Nose-to-Nose Pet Blogging and Social Media Awards to Twelve talented bloggers and social media professionals. This is one of the highest honors in the pet social media world, awarded to bloggers and microbloggers for excellence in one of twelve categories. Finalists were selected from over 1,000 entries! Winners will be announced on May 10, 2014, at the location of BlogPaws’ 6th annual social media marketing conference, the Westin at Lake Las Vegas.
Winners receive a one-of-a- kind personalized trophy and industry recognition, from BlogPaws. BlogPaws’ Platinum conference sponsor, Only Natural Pet, will also donate 400 pounds of pet food to be delivered to the pet rescue or shelter of each winner’s choice.
This exclusive Red Carpet ceremony will take place live on Lake Las Vegas, Saturday evening, May 10th, 2014. On the dais will be awards emcee, Michael Cavanaugh, DVM, DABVP, Chief Executive Officer of the American Animal Hospital Association. Rose Hamilton, the Awards’ Presenting Sponsor and Chief Marketing Officer at Pet360, Inc, will start the festivities on the dot at 7:00pm. Live-streaming of the event will allow members of BlogPaws’ online community to participate if they are not already in attendance. A Twitter “pawty” conducted by those at the event will light Twitter up with excitement, congratulations, and laughter! Previous emcees of this highly anticipated event include Wendy Diamond and David Frei.
On behalf of the twelve winners, BlogPaws will donate body armor to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. Officer Tom Moore will be in attendance with police dog, Zeus. Oxygen pet masks will also be donated to the Henderson EMS Department.
All entries are judged by a panel of industry professionals, and finalists and winners are chosen for their expertise in their category. Each year, the bar is set higher, and nominations come in from around the world.
BlogPaws hosted its first pet-friendly social media and marketing conference in 2010 and has grown annually into the biggest social media event and conference of its kind. Hundreds are expected to converge on Lake Las Vegas for what promises to be one of the year’s most influential social media gatherings.
