About:  Thursday, September 25, 2014 marks a very important day for orphan pets everywhere.  Helen Woodward Animal Center, in partnership with Blue Buffalo, Embrace Pet Insurance and KONG, unite with animal-lovers and animal welfare organizations globally for the 2nd Annual Remember Me Thursday™ Campaign.  Candle-lighting ceremonies, scheduled on the exact same day in such faraway places and Sri Lanka and Australia, will honor the millions of pets who lost their lives over the past year without the benefit of a loving home.
