Is Your Pet Obese?
It is past National Pet Obesity day, but let’s face it, if our pet is obese it is a year-round issue, right?
There is a great post we found on Dog Mom Days that shares startling statistics about pet obesity. I urge you to give it a read and then give your pet a once over. Is he or she overweight? Can you pinpoint a reason? For example:
- Do you overfeed
- Offer snacks all day long
- Is your pet a couch potato?
If any of these are the case, I urge you to get up and get moving, feed the proper amount of food and don’t let them snack all day — these are great health hints for humans and our fur-babies alike.
