Speaker Spotlight: Ted Nguyen, Maddox And WordPress Tips
Post by Blog Manager Robbi Hess
Following a few technical glitches, I had the pleasure of speaking “live” with Ted Nguyen and his adorable pooch, Maddox, this weekend.
We talked about how the bloggers in our Community are always looking for ways to make their blogging lives easier and to make the process move along more smoothly. Something else they are always seeking is “more time” in which to do it all. Ted shared ideas and thoughts on how to monetize your time as well as your blog.
It was a thrill to spend the time on a Google Hangout with this social media and communications powerhouse. Take a few moments to view the video and learn what Ted will talk about during his BlogPaws 2014 Conference session: WordPress Tips and Tricks.
Ted Nguyen is a nationally award-winning social media, public relations and communications professional with more than 20 years of developing and executing cost-effective programs. An international panel selected him to lead a seven-member team of social media experts and bloggers for Florens 2012, a worldwide gathering for arts and cultural heritage week in Florence, Italy. He also was chosen to present on social media and mobile apps for museums.
His most-recent accomplishment includes the top prize in 2012 from the Public Relations Society of America Orange County, winning a record number of Protos trophies for communications excellence and receiving the top individual honor for Distinguished Service.
Ted’s work in social media and digital communications is featured in two books: The Power of Real-Time Social Media Marketing and The Big Book of Social Media. Connect with Ted on Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, and his website, Ted Nguyen USA.
I found out during the interview that Ted and Maddox will be taking a road trip to BlogPaws with their pal and well-dressed dog about town, Sophia Loren.
Taking a road trip with your pet is perfect timing for our BlogPaws theme this month which is: Traveling with your pet! Are you bringing your pet to the BlogPaws Conference?
