Help Your Local Shelter Through #GivingTuesday

As pet parents, animal lovers and supporters of any project that
will help animals in need, we wanted to
#GivingTuesday.
"You Give Goods is organizing a #GivingTuesday — a movement to
ensure that “the Tuesday after Thanksgiving becomes a day for helping others
and for giving back.”
There are two days after Thanksgiving (Black Friday and Cyber
Monday) that are set aside for shopping. You Give Goods asks, “Shouldn’t we
have at least one day for giving?” They think so and they are inviting everyone
to participate in #GivingTuesday by helping animal shelters and rescues by
banding together to spotlight them in a first of its kind national animal
shelter campaign.
You Give Goods is organizing a nationwide Animal Shelter Campaign
to help provide pet food and other supplies to support the dedicated
individuals working for and with the organizations that save, shelter and
nurture homeless animals.
Joining the campaign is free and it’s a great way both to raise
the supplies your organization needs and to create new donor relationships.
Shelters around the country have already signed up to partner in this first
national campaign in which supporters pick the organization they want to support,
and decide how they want to help by donating the specific items they believe
will make the best impact.
YouGiveGoods has been a #GivingTuesday partner since it was founded and its free online service has been used by shelters, rescues
and pet pantries from around the U.S. to raise food & supplies.
