Frankenweenie Movie Premiere: BlogPaws Was There!

It was
great fun attending the white carpeted premiere of Disney’s Frankenweenie.
The traditional red carpet down which movie stars historically stroll before
the big premiere was replaced by a blindingly white version casting a spooky
luminescence on the evening.
Considering
that Frankenweenie is an animated film conceived and directed by Tim Burton, I
was anticipating an appropriate degree of strangeness to be present. What
I witnessed was an uncanny combination of the movie’s human stars and canine
celebrities strutting their stuff on the white carpet (fortunately, no one
inappropriately urinated).
We got
to get up close and personal with: John
August (Frankenweenie’s screenwriter),Tim
Burton, Winona Ryder (pictured), Robert
Capron, Tom
Kenney (voice of multiple characters along with Spongebob Squarepants)-
pictured (with glasses), Martin
Landau, Catherine O’Hara and Martin Short. Other
celebrities who strolled by included: Kendra Wilkinson (Girls Next Door), Marissa
Jarett Winokur (Hairspray) and Busco and Angel (Papi and Chloe in Beverly Hills Chihuahua)- pictured.
Joining me
on the white carpet were BlogPaws’ Kristen Dewey and Cokie the Cat (@CokieTheCat). Cokie was even lucky enough to get to meet
some of the celebrities, including David Arquette.

This is great fun to see all the places pet bloggers are going. WOW, to cover an event like this. I cannot wait to see the movie. I already like the song that the Plain White T’s have out. Nicely done here.
It looked like it was a fun event. I’ve been waiting for this movie since the trailers came out, how was it? Is it something for all ages?
Great tips as usual, Carol. I still haven’t fully utilized Twitter as much as I could be/should be.
