Blogger Disaster Response Network
On October 25, 2012 BlogPaws, World Vets and Dr. V (Jessica Vogelsang) announced The Blogger Disaster Response Network. Together, and with the help of all the bloggers who join the network, we will make a huge positive impact for animals everywhere when disaster strikes.
Dr. V’s personal endorsement can be read here, and you can sign up here.
Signing up means that you will be sharing your basic information (name, email and blog are required) with BlogPaws and World Vets. Your information will be safe with us. We will only contact you via broadcast email when a disaster happens and we need to spread the word about the event immediately. It will be your choice whether you want to participate in spreading the word about any disaster event. Your participation can mean a blog post, a tweet, a Facebook status, a Pinterest post, a Youtube video and/or any other social meda channel you want to use. Often World Vets sets up a chip-in and sharing the chip-in is a very appreciated way to share the casue. Of course you can always share announcements and or chip-ins everywhere!
If you are interested in more hands on assistance, please visit The Disaster Response page of World Vets website. Volunteers are always wanted.
Thank you for your interest in the Blogger Disaster Response Network. If you have any questions along the way, please contact BlogPaws through the contact me now form.
