“Hey, you kind of look like your dog,” I told a friend of mine this weekend at a fundraiser for homeless dog which I hosted.

“Thanks,” she gleefully replied.

Go back about 20 years, and folks may not have been so inclined to accept that as a compliment, but now we are proud card carrying members of the “love me, love my pet” mantra. As a member of that club, I smile when folks say my dog resembles me…hey, maybe he does! *grin*
