I can see many hands and paws going up across the Internet when this question was posed! If you’re a blogger, chances are you got into it for the love of writing, your pet, because of a product or any number of other reasons, but in the back of your mind you were probably wondering, “How can I make money at blogging?”
In a recent BlogPaws Cares & Shares Google Hangout we asked three of our BlogPaws 2015 Conference speakers, Kimberly Gauthier, Beke Lubeach and Jim Nelson for insight on how they got started and how they are now making money. They offered hints and tips that users can incorporate into their blogging and business lives and to hopefully help them turn a profit — or at least keep their pets in kibble and toys!
Some of the wisdom shared during the Hangout include:
Jim Nelson saying, “The key is consistency, not frequency,” and “know your niche.”
Kimberly Gauthier shared, “Don’t start out thinking of making money, start out thinking about developing your voice and creating quality content.”
Beke Lubeach said, “Differentiate or die,” and “treat your blog like a business because it is one.”
