2013 Nose to Nose
Emcee David Frei entertained as twelve winners were announced and recognized during our red carpet gala awards ceremony at BlogPaws 2013, on Saturday evening, May 18.
We’re all grateful to Pets Add Life and Natural Balance Pet Foods and Petcurean, the official sponsors of the 2013 BlogPaws Nose-to-Nose Pet Blogging and Social Media Awards. Pal generously provided the after pawty food and drink and Natural Balance and Petcurean each provided prizes for the winners with donations of 200 lbs of food EACH (400 lbs total) to the shelter/rescue organization of the winner’s choice. Count ’em up and see where they’re going below! (Keep checking back. We’ll update as our winners pick their shelters for the donations.)
Plus, on behalf of the winners, BlogPaws donated a K-9 police vest to Arlington Police Department’s Officer Binckley and his dog, Hugo, and 10 sets of oxygen pet masks to the Prince George County Fire and EMS Department.
Those were two of the nine donations announced at our now-traditional closing of every BlogPaws conference, for a total this year of $15,000 in cash and another boatload of left-over pet products (a/k/a swag) for this year’s local pet welfare organizations, Lucky Dog Animal Rescue and Washington Metro Area Ferret Outreach.
