All the Resources You Need to Grow Your Social Presence

Yesterday, we shared the importance of leveraging your social media analytics, along with tips and tricks on how to do just that.

But what happens if you track your analytics… and you’re not happy with what you discover?

Hey, it’s OK! We can all always work to improve. As Deepak Chopra says, “Attention is important, because whatever you pay attention to grows.” While he’s probably talking about mindfulness and meditation, let’s focus our attention for today on social growth.

Twitter

First, if you want to dig a little deeper into the data piece, this post is for you: Deciphering the Mystery of Twitter Impressions and Reach. Then, once you know where your starting line is, you can begin to apply strategies purposefully (or, as Deepak would say, mindfully). Then, think through these 15 Ways to Grow a Twitter Following. Not all hacks and tactics (what we’ve dubbed #hactics) will apply to your account. Decide which steps are best for you, and pursue those. Pinterest

Here at BlogPaws, Pinterest has been the social channel we’ve been focusing on growing. There are so many opportunities to drive traffic through this channel because, as our social media guru Carol Bryant points out, in her post How Bloggers Can Use Pinterest to Drive Blog Traffic, “Pinterest is a search engine. It is not a social media platform.” For further reading, and to learn even more about strategies for Pinterest growth, check out Pinterest Tips for Better Blogging.

Facebook

If Facebook’s your thing–and, honestly, who can avoid it?–there are so many ways to grow your presence on that platform. And, many brands are very interested in an influencer’s Facebook reach, so love it or hate it, it’s an important platform to grow. The trick with Facebook, of course, is getting people to actually see your content!
