Dr. Marty Becker: “America’s Veterinarian,” has spent his life working toward better health for pets and the people who love them. Dr. Becker was the resident veterinary contributor on “Good Morning America” for 17 years. He is currently a member of the Board of Directors of the American Humane Association as well as its Chief Veterinary Correspondent, a founding member of Core Team Oz for “The Dr. Oz Show” and a member of the Dr. Oz Medical Advisory Panel. K9 Body Armor Presentation: BlogPaws is once again donating body armor to a police dog in need at the Nose-to-Nose awards for pet blogging and social media. The recipient is K9 Ledger of the LaSalle County Sheriff’s Office in Texas, who will be the recipient of a bullet and stab protective vest through BlogPaws and Vested Interest in K9s, Inc. K-9 Ledger is an all-black two year old German Shepherd certified in Narcotics Detection. www.vik9s.org
CJ and Jasmine Jackson: CJ Jackson has a popular YouTube channel called “My Favorite Pup Jasmine”. Her dog’s most popular video “45 Cute Dog Tricks” just reached over a million views. The duo has performed live on Good Morning America and Animal Planet’s “Who Let The Dog’s Out?” Jasmine’s trick videos have been shown on Anderson Cooper, The Today Show, Kathie Lee and Hoda, Right This Minute, many local news programs, as well as TV shows in Japan and England. Just Jesse the Jack: Just Jesse the Jack, star of the original “Useful Dog Tricks” viral video series on YouTube, is a Jack Russell Terrier who loves adventure. His mom, Heather Brook, says from walking hand stands, jump roping and skateboarding, to helping with the laundry, doing the dishes, and recycling; Jesse loves lending a helping paw whenever he can~ Jesse is also an animal actor who enjoys acting in print ads, commercials, and film.

Coco the Couture Cat: Coco and cat mom, Teri Thorsteinson, tour the country, attend fundraising pet fashion shows, pet blogger and social media conferences, and cat shows as a ‘Pet Me’ cat, in Coco’s Pink Catillac! It seems she has found her niche in being an ambassador for kitties in need, raising awareness in her own unique fashionable way! Nearly Zero-Waste “Green” Conference: BlogPaws, Only Natural Pet, and the Pet Sustainability Coalition (PSC) have partnered for our second zero-waste initiative at the 8th Annual BlogPaws Conference. In 2015, the BlogPaws Conference went “green” for the first time in its history. With an environmental goal to divert 65 percent of event waste from going to the landfill, this partnership created an astounding first-time achievement of 78 percent! Impacts of this effort are likened to saving the amount of carbon dioxide released by driving 1,800 miles, or the same amount of energy generated by a hamster running on a wheel for over 3,000 years! http://blogp.ws/27SA2kX
